Last week we wrote a blog about the impact of COVID-19 on job posting in the Netherlands. We have also collected data from both our Job Marketing Platform and Job Posting tool for the Belgium market.
In the graphs below, we see a slightly greater effect in Belgium compared to the Netherlands in the number of vacancies per day as a result of the "Corona crisis" since the beginning of March.
Especially in the last week, we see a decrease in the number of new vacancies per day (left graph).
In the graph on the right, we see the average percentage of differences in the number of new vacancies in Belgium. The low numbers over the weekend show a general trend. We do see a drop with an average of 30% in the number of vacancies, posted over the last week.
These graphs were created using the data from our Platform Job Marketing. If you find this type of information interesting, follow us on LinkedIn. We will regularly share interesting information.
